As November wraps up, PlayStation Plus is treating its subscribers with a fresh batch of games for December 2024. This month’s selection is quite the treat, highlighting three impressive titles, including one that clinched the Game of the Year award back in 2021 at The Game Awards. Plus, enthusiasts of classic PS2 games are in for a real treat with some beloved titles making their way into the Classics Catalog for those with Premium subscriptions.
What’s in Store for December 2024’s Game Lineup?
This December, PS Plus invites Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers to dive into a captivating trio of games: "It Takes Two," "Aliens: Dark Descent," and "Temtem." Each of these will be accessible starting December 3, 2024, and subscribers have until January 6, 2024, to redeem them.
For both PS4 and PS5 users, "It Takes Two" alongside "Aliens: Dark Descent" will be available. Meanwhile, "Temtem" is exclusively available for PS5 players.
As new games enter the scene, November’s titles will bid farewell. Be sure to grab "Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged," "Ghostwire: Tokyo," and "Death Note Killer Within" before they exit the service on December 2, 2024.
Premium subscribers are getting some festive bonuses this month. They’ll have a chance to try out "Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2" with a game trial kicking off on December 3. While the exact duration hasn’t been mentioned, typical trials range from one to three hours, so expect something similar.
The PS Plus Premium Classics Catalog is expanding with the addition of two PS2 favorites. "Sly 2: Band of Thieves" and "Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves" are finally here, completing the trilogy available through the subscription. Plus, "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" from Naughty Dog makes its debut in the catalog too. Gamers can jump into adventures with Sly or Jak starting December 10, 2024.
