Starting January 31, players will not be able to make purchases using real money, although they can still use in-game currency like Gleamium or character tokens until the end of the final season.
But it’s not all bad news. After the servers are shuttered, fans can still enjoy MultiVersus offline. This means you can indulge in single-player mode or even team up with up to three friends for cooperative play. To ensure you can access offline mode, make sure to download the latest update and log in at least once during Season 5, which kicks off on February 4 at 9 AM PST/12 PM EST.
