This week is a big one for Xbox gamers, with several new titles hitting the scene. The standout is undoubtedly "South of Midnight" from Compulsion Games. The Premium Edition has been out since April 3, but come April 8, the Standard Edition will join the lineup, making its way to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a first-party release.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, I’ve shared my impressions of "South of Midnight" in a recent review. I found the story of young Hazel, a Weaver on a quest to save her mother, quite captivating. The game pays homage to Southern Gothic themes, weaving a rich narrative that’s as mysterious as it is engaging. It’s definitely one to watch if you’re into storytelling that leaves a lasting impression.
