A fresh update has rolled out for WWE 2K25, tackling a host of bugs and player concerns that have been flagged across various game modes. This latest addition to the WWE franchise offers fans a wealth of activities, including a showcase centered on the Bloodline, an expansive MyRise story with multiple characters, and a range of exhibition matches with legendary and current wrestlers. As always, there’s room to enhance the experience, and the developers have been diligent about releasing patch updates since the game debuted in March.
Just last week, players received Update 1.07, which brought new features like the NXT Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship to exhibition matches, along with a fresh Saturday Night’s Main Event arena. Other improvements included allowing female wrestlers to vie for midcard championships in MyGM, updating entrance videos for various WWE stars, and enabling the view of a wrestler’s win/loss record in Universe mode.
Now, with Patch Version 1.08, WWE 2K25 has further fine-tuned the gameplay. Available on all platforms, this update addresses numerous issues, particularly in online matches where players encountered missing entrance music and commentary, incorrect numbering during the Royal Rumble, and errors after multiple matches in a row.
Diving into specifics, Universe mode sees fixes for glitches causing empty match cards, inappropriate use of Money In The Bank cash-ins, and issues with the momentum tracker. Additionally, invisible Superstars during rivalry cutscenes and trouble editing tag team divisions are now resolved. The Creation suite also gets attention, fixing locked attire pieces without thumbnails and preventing logo positions from resetting in Create-a-Arena.
On top of that, the update corrects errors such as DIY’s entrance video not playing properly, persisting match settings, and barring female cruiserweights from Money In The Bank matches. Anticipation is also building for the forthcoming New Wave Pack next month, introducing rising stars like Chris Sabin and Stephanie Vaquer to the roster, alongside a mystery celebrity guest.
