It’s been nearly a year since Asgard’s Wrath 2 first made its debut, and its final new Cosmic Event is here, centering once more on the tricky legacy of Loki. Released last December, Sanzaru Games has kept the excitement alive with regular updates to their VR action RPG, introducing Cosmic Events that bring exclusive challenges known as Cosmic Objectives. Throughout your journey, you’ve faced all manner of trials, from tackling a vampiric outbreak and exploring the multiverse to standing against Surtur’s minions. Now, in the concluding event of this series, you find yourself confronting Loki again in the aptly named ‘The Trickster’s Legacy.’
Your mission now is to mend the twisted realities spread across the game. This involves venturing through ‘?’ doors throughout Uncharted Rifts, navigating through perilous trap rooms, acing five divine trials on a single Uncharted Rift run, and cleaning up the Loki Anomalies scattered across the map. Successfully completing these tasks awards you with the Staff of the Trickster, a replica of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, along with various emotes, badges, and titles.
Though this event wraps up the introduction of new content, it’s not the end for Cosmic Events themselves. Sanzaru Games has announced plans to rerun previous events from the start with ‘Into the Multiverse,’ allowing players another opportunity to nab those elusive rewards tied to past events.
In addition to this, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is introducing a unique outfit which, unlike the time-sensitive goodies from The Trickster’s Legacy, isn’t going anywhere. This special gear, exclusive to Meta Quest+ subscribers, features a dinosaur-themed armor hailing from the island of Laramidia, complete with a matching stone blade weapon.
For those eager to dive in, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is still available to experience on the Meta Quest platform.
