Get ready to dive into an exciting world of engineering puzzles this week as Bridge Constructor Studio makes its way to Quest. This game brings a captivating mix of virtual and mixed reality bridge-building challenges to your fingertips.
Initially scheduled to release last week, players will now be able to enjoy the immersive experience on December 12th. Bridge Constructor Studio not only offers a VR experience on Quest but also lets you build, test, and refine bridges in mixed reality on Quest 3. It might be a bit delayed, but it’s certainly worth the wait!
The game takes you through a series of 70 puzzles in its campaign. Your mission? To successfully transport various vehicles from one point to another. You’ll have an array of materials at your disposal, including wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and road surfaces to get the job done.
Unlike the traditional versions of Bridge Constructor, or its major rival Poly Bridge, this XR version doesn’t automatically impose budget constraints or material limits. However, if you’re up for an additional challenge, you have the option to enable these restrictions to earn a “special award,” according to the developers.
Moreover, Bridge Constructor Studio features a Scenario Creation Mode. This lets imaginative players craft and enjoy their custom bridge-building scenarios, with the capacity to save up to 40 personalized levels to their player profiles.
Developed by ClockStone STUDIO, this latest offering shares its creative DNA with both the flat and XR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023). It also joins the lineage of various Bridge Constructor games crafted by the studio since their inaugural release in 2011.
Priced at an accessible $10, the game promises hours of engaging gameplay and will be launched exclusively for Quest 2 and Quest 3. Interested players can find it on the Horizon Store starting December 12th.
