Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has taken the Steam platform by storm, reigning as the top-grossing game last week. Since its launch on November 20th, it’s broken past the one million sales mark. This is in addition to the number of gamers diving into the survival shooter through Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. It’s a triumph for the team at GSC Game World, who managed to complete the game’s development amid difficult and very real-world circumstances.
This latest installment managed to nudge Counter-Strike 2 into second place for the week. Meanwhile, Valve’s Steam Deck moved up two spots, landing in third, largely due to the release of its limited white edition. Released on November 18th, this new version of the console flew off the shelves almost immediately.
Both PUBG: Battlegrounds and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 slipped slightly, now sitting in fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Meanwhile, despite some technical hiccups making headlines, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 made its debut in the sixth slot.
The buzz around Path of Exile’s upcoming Early Access release, boosted by Supporter Packs that offer users a sneak peek, has propelled it to a respectable seventh place, ahead of its December launch. Throne and Liberty from Amazon and NCSoft climbed two spots to secure eighth place, overtaking EA Sports FC 25, which holds ninth. Rounding off the chart is Dota 2, comfortably in the tenth position.
