The season wraps up with an intriguing twist, beginning with the curious tale of Sinistea being tossed into the waters of Undella Bay.
In the wake of last weekend’s Wild Area event in Pokémon Go, fans can gear up for another exciting weekend, this time with a strong Unova theme.
The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova has been unveiled as the grand finale for “Dual Destiny,” a season in the game focused on Unova. This event promises in-person gatherings scheduled for February 22nd and 23rd in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, CA. Following these, a global event will take place on March 1st and 2nd. It’s worth noting that Europe might miss out on an in-person spectacle due to the European International Championship clashing with these dates. This marks the third “Tour” event to be held in person, with previous ones having taken place in Las Vegas in February 2023 and earlier this year in Pasadena and greater Los Angeles.
Tickets for the in-person gatherings are now available, while the global event is set to be free for all. However, for those eager to delve deeper, an optional “Masterwork Research” story can be purchased, offering a shiny version of Meloetta as a reward—recently released through Pokémon Home.
For specifics, the event’s website lays out the essential details, with more announcements expected as the event draws near. These additional updates may include which Pokémon will be available. One highly anticipated feature is the official debut of the Black 2 and White 2 box art versions of Kyurem. These forms were inadvertently released last year but swiftly removed in favor of the regular Kyurem form. Keep an eye out for more surprises as the event approaches!
