We’ll need to hang tight just a tad longer before diving into the fresh Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora achievements. The anticipated release of the Secrets of the Spires story pack has hit a slight snag, pushing its release date back a couple of days. Thankfully, this is a minor bump in the road, with the DLC now scheduled to drop on November 28.
Initially, Secrets of the Spires was slated for a November 26 release. However, the development team cited a “critical last-minute issue” for the delay. They’ve addressed fans through a post on X, expressing, “We know many of you are eagerly awaiting this new adventure in the Western Frontier, and we apologize for this delay. Our priority is delivering a high-quality, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all of our players.” So, mark your calendars for November 28, when you can expect the DLC to start rolling out at 8 am UTC / 9 am CET / 12 am PT.
Details on this new story pack remain scant, but we do know it will take us to an exciting new location—the Spires of the Clouded Forest—for some thrilling aerial combat. Along with exploring this mountainous region, players can look forward to five new achievements tied to completing quests and unlocking Sky Hunter skills.
Despite the minor delay, it’s reassuring that Secrets of the Spires is still on track for this week’s release. Given the extensive list of Xbox games that have been pushed out of 2024, this slight delay seems quite manageable.
