Get ready for a thrilling ride as the March VR Games Showcase promises to be the most exciting one yet, boasting what organizers call “the biggest line-up ever” of XR games.
While we’re hungry for details, there’s still a bit of mystery shrouding the event, especially regarding the exact date. But don’t worry; the organizers assured us on X that more information is just around the corner.
As with previous VR Games Showcases, we can look forward to finding out which studios will be taking part, offering us tantalizing clues about what games might be unveiled. You can bet there’ll be a strong focus on Quest games, alongside titles for PSVR 2 and PC VR.
The showcase last year was nothing short of electrifying, with a wave of game announcements and updates that got everyone buzzing. We got our first glimpse of HITMAN III: Reloaded, Vertigo Games wowed us with Arizona Sunshine Remake, Fast Travel Games introduced us to Action Hero, and there were thrilling gameplay trailers for the GRIM survival game, styled much like Rust. By the end, seven studios had announced over 15 diverse titles.
Just a month after that, the ‘XR Indies and Friends’ showcase added to the excitement. It brought fresh insights on Innerspace VR’s One True Path, gameplay previews from Cyborn’s MR adventure Wall Town Wonders, a trailer for the VR adaptation of Metamorphosis by Ovid Works, and a look at Just Add Water’s arcade digging sim, DIG VR.
As we gear up for March, we’ll be keeping an eager eye on the VR Games Showcase YouTube channel, where all the action will be livestreamed. So, stay tuned for announcements as we get closer to the big event!
