However, Penguin Random House, the publisher behind this adventure, is keeping details about the game mechanics under wraps, a strategy often seen with major IP-based tabletop launches. From the book’s cover showcasing two six-sided dice, it’s clear that dice will play a role, and the publisher notes that the set comes with “four dice.” Additionally, the gamebook features a “removable character sheet” and a “rules reference” to track heroic progress, perfect whether you’re playing alone or leading a group as the game master—here called “your narrator.”
