Hey there! Some exciting news from Konami has landed: later this week, they’ll be hosting a stream dedicated to Silent Hill, where we’ll finally get a peek at Silent Hill f. Kind of funny how you can just play with capital letters sometimes, right?
While we’ve recently enjoyed intriguing developments like the Silent Hill 2 Remake – a fantastic team effort between Konami and Bloober Team – it’s been a while since we’ve seen a new main series entry. Silent Hill f seems set to fill that eerie gap.
So, mark your calendars for March 13th, when this Silent Hill transmission kicks off at 10 PM GMT. If you’re stateside, that’s 3 PM for the Pacific Time folks and 6 PM Eastern Time. We’ll pop the link to the livestream right here once it’s up and running, but your safest bet is to head over to the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
Wondering what to expect? Konami promises the stream will unveil “SILENT HILL f,” and director Al Yang is teasingly enthusiastic, hinting, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
Now, if you need a little refresher, Silent Hill f was first announced back in 2022 during another SH transmission, alongside Bloober’s SH2 remake. This new exploration into horror comes from Neobards Entertainment, with Ryukishi07 – famed for the When They Cry visual novels – crafting the story.
Our own Silent Hill aficionado, Kelsey, found the original teaser for Silent Hill f featuring that creepy flower hat to be “rather fascinating and stylised.” So, I recommend setting aside some time for this showcase if you’re into spine-chilling experiences.
